In a fortnight in October 2025 you will have the chance to develop and produce your own personal photographic project in Sirmione, taking inspiration from the many aspects of its charm.

2.Award

• TRAVEL: A reimbursement of travel expenses (up to a maximum of € 1.000);
• HOSPITALITY: Two weeks of hospitality in Sirmione in October 2025;
• DAILY ALLOWANCE: a total allowance € 2.500,00 for the two weeks;
• BOOKS: 50 copies of the volume that will be printed by the Municipality of Sirmione using the photographs of the photographic project carried out during the Photographic Residence in Sirmione;
• SUPERVISION: guidance and supervision in the realisation of the project and in the editing of the book by Andréa Holzherr, Global Cultural Director, Magnum Photos International and Ludovica Pellegatta, Partnerships Director – Italy and Switzerland, Magnum Photos International. 

3. Content

• You will be accompanied in this free-theme project by two international professionals with whom you will be able to exchange ideas every step of the way: Andréa Holzherr, Global Cultural Director, Magnum Photos and Ludovica Pellegatta, Partnerships Senior Manager, Magnum Photos.
• And your project could even become a book! Sirmione Photo Residency is distinguished and characterized by the great freedom that is granted to the participating photographers in imagining, proposing and producing their project.
• The Sirmione Photo Residency is a research and development residency in which photography can become the key tool to trace points of union between the different dimensions of collective life and translate into an opportunity for cultural and ethical growth of society.
