[Đức] Học Bổng Toàn Phần Bậc Tiến Sĩ Tại Karlsruhe Institute Of Technology 2025

Germany is home to world-class research institutions, and Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) stands out as one of the leading centers for advanced scientific studies. KIT\'s Institute for Advanced Membrane Technology (IAMT) is currently offering multiple fully funded PhD positions in Photocatalytic Membranes for Contaminant Removal in Germany. This doctoral-level opportunity provides financial benefits and support for researchers to explore groundbreaking solutions in environmental engineering. The application deadline is 31 August 2025.
Degree Level

DAAD - Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany PhD Scholarships 2025 (Fully Funded) is available to undertake PhD level programs at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.

Available Subjects

This PhD project builds on existing research at IAMT and aims to explore innovative approaches for developing photocatalytic membranes. The research includes:

  • Selecting novel photocatalytic materials beyond commonly used options
  • Exploring new deposition and coating techniques for catalysts
  • Designing scalable systems, from lab-scale to pilot applications
  • Investigating micropollutant removal mechanisms
  • Integrating modeling techniques at the molecular and process levels

The primary goal of this research is to improve water purification techniques by leveraging advanced photocatalytic membranes to achieve efficient and sustainable contaminant degradation.

Key Research Questions

Some of the major challenges this PhD project seeks to address include:

  • Can photocatalytic membranes completely degrade contaminants?
  • How can full degradation be verified?
  • What are the most suitable photocatalytic materials for micropollutant removal?
  • What are the mechanisms behind membrane photocatalysis, and how can they be quantified?

This interdisciplinary research will integrate experimental work, modeling, and advanced analytical techniques to provide a deeper understanding of the photocatalytic degradation process.
