If you have applied for a Master\'s programme at the Swedish Defence University, you can apply for a number of scholarships. This scholarship is administered by the Swedish Council for Higher Education (UHR). Application and selection process amongst admitted students to the Swedish Defence University is handled by the university. The scholarship may only be used as a tuition fee waiver and may not be used for other costs.

1. Who can apply

The scholarship programme is granted to the highest qualified students from countries who are required to pay tuition fees, i.e. not EU/EEA countries and Switzerland (in accordance with Regulation 2010:543).

Please note that only applicants in the current application round can apply for the scholarship since the scholarship is aimed for newly admitted students.

2. How to apply

The form closes at 23.59 on February 3. No supporting documents are needed since they are available on universityadmissions.se.

3. Application period

You may apply for a UHR scholarship starting October 16th 2024 in the application round October 2024 - January 2025.

Please note that you have until February 3 2025 to submit your scholarship application.

The scholarship recipients will be notified a few days after the admission results on March 21st. We will only review scholarship applications amongst eligible and admitted candidates. Please do not pay any tuition fees before you receive notification of your scholarship status.
