Eligibility requirements

The eligibility criteria for the UCW scholarship in Canada are given below;

• Applicants from all nationalities are eligible except the USA.

• The required study language is English.

• It is a requirement for all interested candidates to enroll in the university’s degree program.

• Additionally, you must have received a study offer from the University of Canada West.

• The amount of award and the tier will depend on the strength and quality of their Statement.

• For Undergraduate awards: For the second and subsequent awards, recipients of the scholarship must continue to maintain a GPA of 2.67.

• For Graduate award: For the second and subsequent awards, recipients of the scholarship must continue to maintain a GPA of 3.0.

Financial Services of University Canada West Scholarships

The recipients of Scholarships at Canada West will receive the benefits in the form of a selected tier. Which  are below;

Tier 1:

• For Undergraduate Associate of Arts Degree: 6,000$

• For Undergraduate Degree of Commerce and Business Communication: 12,000$

• For MBA: 7,500$

Tier 2:

• For Undergraduate Associate of Arts Degree: 4,000$

• For Undergraduate Degree of Commerce and Business Communication: 8,000$

• For MBA: 5,000$

Required documents

You must attach all the required documents for the UCW scholarship with your form of application. These documents are;

For Undergraduate degree:

• A completed online application.

• An official transcript of high school.

• Official transcripts from all previous post-secondary institutions (if any);

• Proof of English proficiency (if applicable).

• If you submit a certificate from an unrecognized university or if more investigation is required by the Admissions Committee, then you can submit a credential evaluation from a recognized service that confirms equivalency.

• If your transcripts are not in English language, then you must submit a certified English translation on company letterhead from a qualified translator.

For Graduate degree:

• A completed online application.

• Official transcripts from all previous post-secondary institutions.

• where applicable, official documentation confirming professional designations.

• A thorough chronological resume that clearly outlines educational achievements, work experience, career advancement, and other related experience (check template here).

• You must provide proof that you meet the requirements for English language proficiency listed in the admissions policy’s “English Language Proficiency” section;

• You must provide a certified translation of any documents not in English.

Deadline

The application process for UCW Scholarships is Open all Year (Four intakes per year: Jan, April, July, and September). This scholarship has not set a specific deadline. Anytime is a good time to apply if you’re interested.
