It is a Fully Funded Scholarship for International students to pursue a Master, and PhD Programs from South Korean universities. In 2025, KOICA will award 109 Scholarships. There are designated Master’s and PhD programs offered in designated Korean Universities. The Duration of the Master’s Program is 17 Months, whereas for the PhD it is 36 months. KOICA Stands for the Korea International Cooperation Agency. The KOICA Scholarship Program aims to Train Leaders to contribute to the socio-economic development of their Home Countries. There is no application fee, and IELTS is not required. The KOICA scholarship is quite popular and prestigious.

- Nomination: Must be a government official with an official government nomination.
- Age: Preferably under 40 years old.
- Health: Good mental and physical health is required for the program duration. Applicants with disabilities in good health are eligible; severe illness is not.
- Education & Experience:
- Master’s: Bachelor’s degree, ideally 2+ years relevant experience.
- Doctoral: Master’s degree, ideally 3+ years of experience post-KOICA Master’s (if applicable). Some programs have specific criteria.
- English: Strong speaking and writing skills are needed for the English-taught program.
