Categories of SEAI Energise Fellowships

The fellowship programme is divided into two categories:

Academic Fellowships:

SEAI-Based Fellowships:

These awards support fellows conducting research on predefined topics at SEAI’s Dublin office. The five fellowship topics for 2025 include:

1. Applying innovation to impact frameworks for Ireland’s clean energy transition.
2. Measuring the incidence and distribution of energy programme costs and benefits.
3. Evaluating energy programme outcomes using mixed and qualitative methods.
4. Exploring behavioral science approaches to altering energy-related behaviors.
5. Future-proofing households against fossil fuel price fluctuations, focusing on low-income and vulnerable communities.

SEAI Energise Fellowship Programme 2025 in Ireland is available to undertake Fellowship level programs at Ireland Universities.

• Sustainable Energy Transitions

To be eligible for the SEAI Energise Fellowship Programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Educational Qualification:

1. Must be a postdoctoral researcher or an experienced researcher.
2. Should have obtained a PhD degree or equivalent research experience.

Institutional Support:

1. Applicants must be supported by a third-level educational institution in Ireland.
2. Proof of affiliation or a support letter from the institution must be provided.

Research Focus:
