NCCR Switzerland Automation Fellowship 2025 (Fully Funded) is available to undertake Fellowship level programs at Switzerland Universities.
NCCR Automation focuses on advancing research in:

- Robotics and embedded systems
- Artificial intelligence in engineering systems
- Cyber-physical systems and industrial automation
- Human-machine interaction

This scholarship is open to applicants of all nationalities.
To apply, candidates must:
- Be enrolled in a relevant education or research program outside Switzerland
- Remain affiliated with their home institution during the fellowship
- Not have previously studied or worked at the host institution in Switzerland
- Meet the admission or hosting criteria of the selected NCCR Automation lab or PI
- For PhD and postdocs: continue to receive a salary from their home institution
Applications will be reviewed by the NCCR Automation committee based on:
- Academic and research potential
- Quality and alignment of the proposed project or motivation
- Contribution to international collaboration and interdisciplinarity
All applicants will be notified of the outcome by October 2025.
