These scholarships are available for students pursuing degrees in the science of food at accredited universities in the United States and internationally. The financial benefits range from $1,500 to $6,000, depending on the scholarship type. IFT FIRST Travel Scholarships are also available for students to attend the IFT FIRST conference from July 13-16, 2025. This scholarship is open to international students of all nationalities.

- Must enroll as a full-time student pursuing food science

- Complete the online application by February 28, 2025.
- Submit all required documents, including transcripts and proof of enrollment.
- Winners will be notified in April 2025, and funds will be distributed in June 2025.
